Versilube G697 is from our family of general-purpose siliconegreases thickened with inorganic fillers for lubrication andinsulation, which are resistant to oxidation and thermaldegradation. G697 can be used as a lubricant on unpainted ferrousmetal surfaces (threaded or unthreaded) to help prevent corrosion,and maintain the condition of the substrate. We also recommended itas a lubricant for rubber components such as O-rings and gasketsthat have low to medium swelling characteristics.
