INDOMET PENTA has been specially developed for use in diffusionpumps.  Our oil is suitable for all types of diffusionpumps.  It is designed for a very wide vacuum pressurerange.  The vapor pressure and backflow are so low that theuse of cold traps is not required for most vacuumapplications.  Ultra-high vacuum up to the 10E-11 mbar rangecan be achieved with cold traps, without cold traps up to the10E-10 mbar range.
